Coast & Cape Meares

Took an overnight trip to the coast, and enjoyed the weekend.

Tillamook Area Day Trip

We took a day trip to the Tillamook area. We visited the cheese factory (of course!) and then drove out to Cape Meares, we hadn't been down to the lighthouse since the vandalism, so I took some shots of that, then we saw a whale, and I managed to get a shot off before it went back underwater. From there we went down to Oceanside, and up to Barview Jetty park, where we hunted shells. Then we we hit the south end of Seaside to see if there were any surfers, there were, but they were just heading out so we didn't stick around.

Coast Trip

Took a drive to the coast, and went to the Tillamook Cheese Factory as we usually do. Also drove out to Cape Meares, but it was still closed. Remembered the camera this time, but there was nothing noteworthy enough to take a picture of.
